In this Authorization for SMS Authentication (“Authorization”),
the words “you” and “your” mean any person authorizing us to
send SMS messages to any telephone number associated with such
person. The words “we,” “us,” “our,” and “LendingClub” mean
LendingClub Bank, National Association, and its affiliates,
successors and assigns, and designated third-party service
providers acting on their behalf. This Authorization supplements
but does not supersede or replace any current or future
agreements between you and LendingClub.
You expressly consent and agree to receive SMS messages from us
for authentication and identity verification purposes, at any
telephone number that you provide to us or that we can
reasonably associate with you (through skip trace, caller ID
capture, or other means), now and in the future. You certify
that you are authorized to provide this consent because you are
either the subscriber of the telephone number you provide or a
non-subscriber customary user with authority to provide this
consent. Standard communication rates, fees, and charges from
your telephone service provider may apply. Neither we nor your
telephone service provider is liable for any delayed or
undelivered SMS messages. You understand and agree that we may
always communicate with you in any manner allowed by law that
does not require your consent.
You will receive one security code for this login or security
verification step to verify your identity. This message will not
repeat unless you specifically request another security code.
You can stop receiving SMS messages by texting “STOP” in reply
to a message from us. After you send the SMS message “STOP” to
us, we will send you an SMS message to confirm that you have
been unsubscribed. You will no longer receive SMS security codes
from us, until you specifically request a new code via SMS as
part of a new login or verification process. If you are
